How to cite ABNT interviews
When we conduct academic research, interviews are often needed as a source of information. However, it is important to know how to cite these interviews correctly in accordance with the standards of ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards).
Citation Elements
To cite an interview according to ABNT, it is necessary to include the following elements:
- interviewee name: surname, name.
- Interview Date: Day, month and year.
- medium: place where the interview was conducted (for example, radio, television, and mail).

BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES
In addition to citation in the text, it is necessary to include the complete bibliographic reference of the interview in the reference list at the end of the work. The reference must follow the following format:
Silva, João . Interview given to [name of the interviewer]. Place, date of the interview. Media.
Example of bibliographic reference

Remember that it is important to consult the specific ABNT standards for the type of work you are doing, as there may be variations in the interview citation rules depending on the context.
